When are the family fun Nights?
Friday, June 17: Life in God's Garden
We'll be exploring new ways to garden, learn about GAP-compliant Rising Harvest Urban Farms with farmer Michael Bartunek, share a simple garden meal and plant herbs to take home. We'll learn about "tending the soil of our soul" while enjoying one another's company.
Thursday, June 30: Drum Circle
Bring a brown bag dinner and join the circle as we explore various "beats and tempos" under the direction of our own Billy Coakley. We'll be encouraged to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord" in our daily devotions all while catching up with one another.
Friday, July 15: Art Night
We'll be eating better than starving artists with spaghetti, salad and garlic bread. A variety of projects, supplies and instructions will be available for completion. We'll begin our evening with music and prayer, thanking the Creator for the beauty of His creation, waiting for inspiration, then joining Him in the act of creating.
Friday, August 5: Solar Snacks
Ever been in the fire of adversity? We'll learn how God can use even difficult times to produce beautiful things. Solar ovens will be constructed to make "hot" dogs and s'mores for dinner while we share about God's faithfulness to carry us through hard times to find something wonderful in the end.
