September Mission of the Month

 

Lutheran Confessional Church Pakistan (LCCP)

Pastor Jay Dass and his wife Julia being trained as a deaconess planted a church in Pakistan with the mission of making known the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ. Now they have planted 5 more churches since 2021 and are assisting future Pastors and existing church pastors with theological training.

How exciting it is to be part of building the Christian church body in Pakistan which is currently only 1% Christian and even pastors of existing churches have very little theological training! Pastor Jay Dass and his wife Julia partnered with LCMS to plant a church in Pakistan and assist 9 new students as they entered seminary for training as LCMS pastors in Pakistan. Now 12 pastors from existing non-denominational churches are receiving training and mentorship and have agreed to have their churches catechized! They saw the Holy Spirit use even the conditions of the pandemic to provide God’s outreach work to the poor and and their ministry to spread like a Holy fire!
