The History of our sharing hope campaign:
Over eighteen years ago, Community of Hope purchased the land where our beautiful church building sits today. We raised money over several years to pay off the land loan we took out to purchase the land, and prepared for the day we would begin to build. In the meantime, we met and worshipped together in a rented facility not far from our current church home.
Seven years ago, we began worshiping in our building.
Our first services were Easter weekend 2017
Now, we’re asking for you to make an investment in Community of Hope or renew your building fund pledge through the next 3 years.
Our building campaign approach:
Our goal is to raise $300,000 over a 3-year period for paying on our building loan. We take this approach because our operating budget, which is ministry-focused, is not of sufficient size to also service the loan, which is approximately $100,000 per year.
You responded over the last three years with 110% of that goal, which allowed us to make extra pay downs on the loan and thereby hasten the day when we won’t need to do tri-annual pledge drives. Until then, these pledge drives allow us to service our debt.

We believe that the ministry of Community of Hope is more important today than ever. We pray our church can be a beacon of lasting hope in the community and a platform to be even more effective in sharing the hope we find in Jesus with others.
