JOIN THE YOUTH IN TRAVELING TO VISIT THE LIFE-SIZE ARK! THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ENTIRE CHURCH!

May 2nd we are departing at 4:30 pm to travel to Williamstown, KY (approximately 4 hours away) to visit the Ark Encounter on Saturday, May 3rd!

“Ark Encounter features a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old.

As you enter Noah’s world aboard the massive Ark, you’ll tour three decks filled with scores of world-class exhibit bays. These stunning exhibits allow you to experience what Noah’s life may have been like.”

Youth will be camping out at a nearby church but others may join us making their own hotel reservations at Drury Plaza Hotel Cincinnati Florence 859-488-9101.

Ticket prices (non-group rate):

Adults ages 18 – 59 $64.99, Seniors age 60+ $54.99, Youth ages11 – 17 $31.99, Children 10 and under are free.

Sr. High Youth, Confirmands, Four Fifty Sixers Who Are Staying at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church:

We will be “camping out” in the church to help keep costs down. Transportation, a grab and go breakfast on Saturday and a packed sack lunch will be provided for you.

You will be responsible for the following:

1. Completing a permission slip and emergency medical form prior to our departure

2. The cost of your ticket

3. Friday and Saturday dinners (fast food)

4. Spending money at the Ark

5. Bringing a sleeping bag, toiletries, modest sleepwear and change of clothes for Saturday.

GROUP DISCOUNT INFORMATION:

For us to get a group discount (around $5.00 off each ticket), tickets must be purchased together 21 days in advance of our planned visit. Please register with Gretchen at office@cohchurch.com by Friday, April 11th. Please note: in order to get your discount you will need to submit the full price of your ticket at the time of your reservation.
